Saint Patrick's Day projects

 In our English classes, our students started about Saint Patrick where different groups picked a topic they wanted to work on, regarding St. Patrick's Day - how it started - History, where it is celebrated - Geography, what are the customs and activities people do during this day - Traditions, what music and typical dances are - Music and Dance, a special sport called Hurling - Sports, and typical dishes and recipes - Food.

Where is the gold?

 Pupils from 1st level playing a game trying to discover where the gold is. Can you find the tiny leprechaun?And the pot of gold?

 Alma and Nuno,two pupils from 6th  level primary education came to school with this incredible and yummy apple cake.Different groups are investigating about this celebration:food,history,traditions,geography,sport and music and dance.Great !

Laura and Drogo

Today in English class, we welcome our guest speaker Laura to talk about the story of her dog Drogo who survived from an unfortunate event when a man tried to hurt him by feeding him meat with pins in them. Luckily, it's a story with a happy ending and Drogo is now fine and is going to turn 9 years old in a couple of months. While it is unfortunate that it happened to poor Drogo, the students learned that not everyone likes dogs and some of them would try to hurt them. To prevent this, Laura advised our students to take care of our dogs and look after them and try to make sure that they don't cause other people any trouble so that they would not have any reasons to hurt our beloved pets

Laura and Drogo's story was featured in a Spanish TV Show called Pipper en Ruta. It's a show that follows the adventure of Pipper (an influencer dog) all over Spain. In a particular episode, Laura told Drogo's story and the episode can be watched by clicking the picture or the below:

A Class Act

A theatre company from Wales visited Celeiro to perform the play A Class Act and students of the school enjoyed watching their performance. It was an interactive show where several students were called on stage to participate in the act.
