Christmas Festival

Last Friday December 18th we celebrated the Christmas Festival at school.Pupils from 6th level danced "Santa Claus is coming in a boogie boogie choo choo train"(The Tractors).We didn´t have lots of time to learn all the song,but they were so enthusiastic dancing,that they forgot singing!!!!And the teachers did the same with "The Twelve Days of Christmas".Thanks to all of them .This is the season to play,enjoy and be happy.!!!!

Halloween festival at The Lighthouse

After a grey week,the sun visited us again this morning.We were in our school vegetable garden and orchard ,learning a lot.Then in our classroom we thought about a healthy vegetable soup with at least two ingredients from it.As we didn't know all the vocabulary,we could search some information on the internet and in dictionaries.

Saint George and the Dragon

This is the result of a story-based project :the legend of Saint George and the dragon.They had fun and participated in the drama,choosing the characters.That´s why you see more than one king,sheppherd,...They are the 5th level pre-primary.

A new action song to learn,and dance the numbers from 1 to 10.It works with pre-primary kids.This group had learned it last year .Now we want to review it and share the result with all of you.

Nando from OUP at our classroom

On Monday Nando from OUP visited us at school.He was playing with us and we could learn amazing facts about London.At the end each pupil got a diploma!!!Thanks a lot to Nando for this super quiz.

Happy S.Patrick´s Day!If you want to celebrate it with a parade in your own classroom this music is perfect!We are dancing and marching,the kids love to participate.As we have got lots of grass,trees and bushes around school,we went outside to pick up real green shamrocks.Now they got an authentical card to celebrate such a special date!

Learning about animals,their habitats and where they can hide ,in February, was perfect to make our own masks and play outside.Can you find the deer,fox,owl,spider and the hedgehog?Are they next to the lake(our pool)?Or behind the tree?Perhaps they are in front of the rock or next to the tree.Well...three of them were into the jail...!!!!!And one of the hedgehogs couldn´t walk!Keep calm!In few days your foot will be all right.
