GENDER EQUALITY FILM

We are learning,discovering,discuting,working about Gender Equality.Thanks to Brittish Council(Connecting Classrooms) for the idea,PDFs and support. Awra Ambra is a community in the region of Amhara in Ethiopia.This short video portrays the rights and responsibilities of those living in this community.

CELEIRO IN THE PAST

Laureano Míguez Salgueiro,a 80 years old sailor from Celeiro,visited us at school.He was talking to our pupils from 5th level,how it was living in their village in the past and today.They are working on a project comparing  how it was in the past and how is it today. An amazing and incredible experience for all us.The oportunity to watch a "film",the film of his own life(very hard)and the chance to ask him questions about the power point he showed us.All these photos are from that day.His brother Vicente,who is a teacher at our school,allowed me to post them here.Thanks a lot for your interest and help!
